NYFW S/S 2020

The Spring Summer 2020 collection showcased a signature of grandeur, opulence, and femininity, inspired by Korean traditional dresses. This included incorporation of Hanbok "Saekdong" and damask fabric to exemplify "K-color."

Saekdong is a type of handbook with is a traditional Korean dress, it means "many colored" in Korean. The patterns used in traditional clothing also originated from the five colors of Obangsaek, often made into colorful stripes by patch working and the five-color stripes were added in the sleeves of queens' dresses and on wedding garments.
